You may like to check-out "Ring of Power" on youtube. 2012 is the 200 anniversary of the War of 1812. This current astrological "Cardinal Climax" for the years 2008-2015 add some light to this situation. You may find it interesting to research ThePilgrams Club, Society, etc. of London and New York. TheQueen of the BritainEmpire is the head of this group. 2012 is a secret masonic mile marker for the expansion of the BritEmpire. The War of 1812 is secretly celebrated.

P.S. I'd like to see that movie. History is repeating itself now. Created financial collapse. The looting, and then the coming war, after which The NWO will have a much expanded stance over the world.

Hey, I saw this thread and I just had to comment. I saw a documentary by this name.. so is that the same film? I saw it on a cable on demand program. Anyways, it really fascinates me because years ago I read a book called the "Ra Material" which flipped me out for a very long time. I am a total science fiction nut, a quasi scientist and a firm believer in the supernatural. So I tend to believe stuff that is supposedly from "UFOs". Oh, I know it's nutty but we must follow our hearts.. and my heart goes there. In that book, it said that in 18 years (which would be 2012 from then), the earth would evolve to another level and many souls would be shed (people would die) because they wouldn't be able to handle it. Only the ones who were ready would be "harvested" into this new world. Sounded a lot like the rapture, which I grew up believing in as a Catholic. It made a sort of sense to me, I guess.
Like I said, this flipped me out and I thought about it all the time for many years. This was only a small part of what they transmitted but the rest rang true (again in my heart) so I became obsessed with it. Since then I have been to hundreds of channelers and psychics along with my own work in Astrology and studied many things in this area, looking for an answer. I heard about Nostradamus and his predictions. I read about the Mayan calendar. I checked the planets, too. And then I saw this documentary, which made me think about it even more.
In short, it is a good film. They present arguments on both sides but the ones that support the idea that 2012 is some magical date stand out in my mind. The numerologists believe it will be 12/12/12 because the number 12 translates into endings. I looked up the planets for that day in particular and saw nothing spectacular so I cannot, as an Astrologer, give this stuff any merit. However, it my heart, it haunts me. So I am all ears! What do you guys think?

Our Rabbi once said that G*d only designed the world to last for 6000 years, and then the world as we know it will change beynd recognition. He says it is written in the Torah, but I don't know where exactly. He says it also fortells big advances in Science and Technology just before the end of this 6000 year period. Now I hate to worry anyone unduly, but it's now Jewish year 5771....

I read the book. There is a bubbling brew in one of the lakes on the border of Montana and Wyoming. We have all the warning signs: the ice caps are moving, dead birds (first sign of atmospheric problems--they used them in mines way back), mega quakes, mega hurricanes, tsunamis, volcanoes saying hey... I don't think this will be one massive jolt like in the movie. I think this will be a gradual displacement of ground and individuals. A separating the wheat from the chaff sort of thing.
